
Italian Sausage Ragu

Ingredients
- 16 oz. Italian sausage
- ½ cup yellow onion, diced
- 3 tsp. minced garlic
- ½ tsp. crushed red pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth
- ¼ cup white wine
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup 4Sisters Arborio rice, cooked according to package directions
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh baby spinach
- salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Sauté the Italian sausage, onion, & garlic over medium heat until meat is cooked, and onions are tender.
- Stir in the red pepper flakes, broth, white wine, & cream. Reduce the heat and cook for 10 minutes, uncovered, stirring often.
- Remove from heat, stir in cooked arborio, parmesan cheese, spinach, salt, & pepper. Cover until spinach wilts and cheese melts.
